The Masaryktown Community Center cordially invites people of all ages to join our growing facility in developing the center’s core membership and various committees devoted to bettering the community at large.  

The center is located at 539 Lincoln Ave in Masaryktown and boasts a 4800 sq. ft. facility complete with a kitchen, a theatrical stage, a bar and a huge dance floor. Bingo is played every Wednesday and Saturday from 5:30 – 10:30 and throughout the year several activities are promoted and executed for the youth and adults alike.  

There are several committees within the workings of the Center but the most notable of them is the Activities Committee. This committee is responsible for all of the fund raising functions put on at the Center. To say the least, this committee is the most fun to be part of. As a member of the activities committee, you get to help with all the inner workings of just how a fundraiser is formed, executed and completed. What a feeling of accomplishment! 

The most recent sub-committee, newly formed this year under the Activities Committee is the playground committee, and is chaired by Phil Rafferty, who currently serves on the Centers board of trustees and is a director on the Activities committee.  Events like the mystery dinner theater, Halloween for the children, the children’s Christmas party, the Valentines sweetheart dance and several other events throughout the year help raise funds for improvements to not only the center itself but for the playground, ball field, parking lot, retention pond etc.

There is a survey being circulated asking the general publics input on the improvements we want to make to the playground. There is access to it on the website and there will be paper copies available at the center and the Masaryktown post office.  

The Masaryktown Community Center also has recently opened an area for a doggie park. It is located north of and adjacent to the playground so if you want to bring your kids and your pets, feel free.  

The Masaryktown Community Center is currently accepting donations for improvements to the community playground. You can make checks payable to the Masaryktown playground fund and mail them to the aforementioned address or make cash donations to the Post Master at the Post Office.
